Welcome to our homeschool astronomy page.  Here I will share some information on when we will meet, objects we will try to observe, resources for further exploration and other links of interest.

Our next meeting will be:
Friday, May 2nd from 8:30 till around 10:30 or when everyone is done.  The backup day will be on Saturday evening if we are clouded out.

Objects we will try to observe:
Planets: Saturn and Mars
Galaxies: M104, M81 and M82
Globular Clustera:  M3 and possibly M13
Open Clusters: M44
 
In addition to telescope observing, we will be looking at and pointing out constellations with a green laser pointer.

Three Scopes
These are the three scopes we will use.  From
L to R- 4.25 diameter Edmund Scientifics Astroscan,
home made 10" diameter blue scope and finally a
15" diameter home made truss tube scope.
